How trading works
Every listing and offer here is a Seaport 1.6 order, the same kind OpenSea uses, signed by your own wallet. Each order also names the market’s zone. Seaport checks with the zone before it fills an order, and the zone only lets through fills this market has signed off on.
Why a zone
A plain Seaport order can be filled by anyone who copies it, bots included. Ours can only be filled through the market, after a quick human check.
Before every fill the market checks on chain that the seller still has the Lord and the bidder still has the WETH, so nothing sells off a stale listing. While someone’s purchase goes through, the Lord is held for them.
Unlisting is free: the market never fills an unlisted order again. To cancel the order on chain as well, press Cancel on chain (a small transaction).
What you sign
A listing is one signed order: your Lord for an ETH price, with the 2.5% royalty fee taken out of it. Your wallet shows the price, what you receive and when it ends. Nothing moves until someone buys.
An offer is one signed order of WETH for a Lord, for any Lord, or for any Lord with a certain trait. The royalty fee comes out of the offer, so the seller doesn’t need any WETH to accept it.
The first time, your wallet asks you to let Seaport move your Lords (or your WETH). The market only uses two approvals: OpenSea’s conduit, if you already gave it on OpenSea (then you aren’t asked again), or Seaport itself. Every transaction the page sends goes to Seaport, the Hood Lords contract or WETH, and the confirm step shows which before your wallet does.

Before you sign, your wallet should show the order’s zone as 0x6c6B…b707, its
orderType as 2 (full, restricted), and a royalty fee line paying 0x1C40…66AB exactly 2.5%.
If anything is different, don’t sign it. It didn’t come from this market.
If the market is down
You can still browse. Trading waits until it’s back, because every fill needs the market’s sign-off. Listings end on their own after 30 days at most and offers after 7, and you can cancel any of them on chain at Seaport whenever you like.
